by admin477351

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi began his visit to India on Monday with a series of planned meetings aimed at strengthening ties, addressing boundary issues, and advancing mutual cooperation. His schedule includes talks with India’s National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The visit also marks the 24th round of Special Representatives talks on the boundary question between the two nations. Both sides are expected to build on prior agreements while focusing on maintaining peace and stability in border regions. Officials from both countries have expressed readiness to continue dialogue and uphold common understandings reached in earlier discussions.
Analysts view Wang’s itinerary as a sign that both New Delhi and Beijing are seeking to stabilize relations, enhance mutual trust, and create a foundation for broader cooperation in trade, connectivity, and regional security. The meetings come just days ahead of Modi’s planned trip to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, adding weight to the ongoing diplomatic exchanges.
