Wang Xingxing, who is the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, a prominent player in China’s humanoid robotics landscape, provided insights into the timeline for achieving such a breakthrough in embodied intelligence. Speaking at the World Robot Conference in Beijing on August 20, 2026, Wang projected that embodied intelligence might reach a crucial tipping point akin to the ChatGPT moment within the next two to three years. However, he acknowledged that under a slower development pace, this could extend to five to ten years.
