China Airlines has enhanced its flight network in Japan by introducing a new daily service connecting the cities of Taichung and Okinawa. This development increases the total number of round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170 each week. The newly launched route is serviced by an Airbus A321neo aircraft, with Flight CI310 departing from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and reaching Okinawa by 12:40 p.m. The return journey, Flight CI311, leaves Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., landing in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.

In a bid to further expand its offerings, China Airlines plans to introduce a second daily service beginning August 13. The additional flight, CI312, will take off from Taichung at 3:20 p.m., arriving in Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. Passengers can return on Flight CI313, which departs from Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and lands back in Taichung at 7:30 p.m. This expansion significantly strengthens the airline’s connectivity between the two regions.

With these new services, China Airlines is set to operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa every week, adding to its existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung. This boost in frequency is aimed at enhancing travel options for both business and leisure passengers, providing them with more flexible and convenient choices.

The airline’s strategic move to increase flights between Taiwan and Japan underscores its commitment to meeting the growing demand for air travel in the region. By offering more frequent services, China Airlines not only caters to the needs of travelers but also contributes to strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
